Step 1 - Three Choices
Without first making this choice, nothing else matters.
Every decision. Every time.
The Three Choices Responsibility Framework
In every situation, you have three options.
They determine your trajectory, regardless of circumstances.

This framework exists to make those options explict.
Choice 1
Take Full Responsibility
The Path of Growth

Own your situation, thoughts, and actions.
Whether or not you caused the problem.

Seek solutions.
Take deliberate action.
Move toward the best available outcome.

Commit to learning, adaptation, and self-leadership.

What is within your control, you act on.
What is outside your control, you accept.

Example
You are unhappy in your job.
Instead of blaming others or remaining stuck, you assess your situation, develop relevant skills, and take steps toward better work.

Choice 2
Do Nothing
The Path of Stagnation

Remain as you are.
Make no meaningful changes.

Accept discomfort by default.
Hope conditions improve without intervention.

Commit to learning, adaptation, and self-leadership.

Transfer responsibility to luck, timing, or other people.

Example
You are unhappy in a relationship.
You avoid difficult conversations and wait for improvement that does not arrive.

Choice 3
React Negatively
The Path of Destruction

Avoid responsibility through distraction or blame.

Engage in short-term relief behaviors that create long-term damage.

Convert discomfort into escalation.

Example
After stress or disappointment, you numb, lash out, or disengage rather than address the cause.

If this describes your current state, seek professional support.
Seeking help is the responsible action fro beginning forward momentum.

This framework is not to judge.
It is to clarify.

You are always making one of these choices.
Consciously or not.
